SLYPA Foundation

SLYPA Foundation is the charitable arm of the organization. Plans are being made to set up a separate 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in the near future.  This will allow SLYPA to directly accept donations for the various charitable fundraising activities that SLYPA members choose to engage in around the country. All such donations will be tax-deductible. Discussions are currently underway for SLYPA Foundation to help raise money for a major construction project in Sri Lanka.  The project, started by two Sri Lankans - one of Sinhalese descent and one of Tamil descent - involves the rehabilitation of a pediatric ward that was devastated during the tsunami.  More details coming soon...
